Raudhah R.
Name/Pronouns: Raudhah Rahman (she/her/dia)
Teaches: Prana
A bit about Raudhah: Originally from Singapore. Raised in Malaysia. I moved to California in 2008 to study Biotechnology and later earned a master’s in Genetics from Cal Poly Pomona. Somewhere between long hours in the lab, yoga became my way to stay grounded—and a way to find community while living far from home.
Eventually, I left research to teach yoga full-time, serving as Assistant Director for the Yoga Off East Teacher Training and leading Teacher Trainings at CorePower Yoga. In 2020, I stumbled across Skill in Action online and haven’t looked back. Now, I co-facilitate Skill in Action workshops and design websites for yoga teachers, studios, therapists, and wellness professionals who are actively reshaping the culture of care.
For me, wellness is inseparable from cultural roots and history. That belief shapes everything I do—from the way I teach to the way I design. Every year, I co-host the Malaysia Cultural Retreat with my long-time friend Hui Li, inviting people to experience the richness of my culture firsthand.
These days, Raudhah’s approach to Prana classes begins with pranayama, eases into a steady flow through repetition and resistance, and winds down with a seated meditation.
