A bit about Allie: Allie discovered yoga in an unexpected place in 2011—it was a required high school gym class. Having grown up as a dancer, she always felt that another way of exploring movement would be better suited for her, and yoga ended up being the missing piece. It gave her a space to channel her love of movement in a way that felt authentic while also becoming a grounding practice that supported her through the ups and downs of high school, college, and beyond. After experiencing the impact of her own practice for over a decade, Allie took the leap and completed her yoga teacher training in 2021 while in graduate school.
What Allie loves most about The Coterie is its commitment to creating space for people to connect with themselves. Whether that means offering a moment of calm in a busy day or helping a student discover something new in their practice, she believes yoga should be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and welcome.
In Allie's classes, you can expect intentional movement, thoughtful sequencing, and an encouraging atmosphere where you can step out of your head and into your body. She loves creating flows that balance strength and mobility while inviting students to explore their edges with curiosity, rather than judgment. Her goal is for you to leave feeling stronger, more grounded, and more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
Fun fact: Allie is a yogi with a physical disability and is passionate about making yoga accessible to all bodies. She loves finding creative adaptations that empower students to experience the practice in ways that work best for them.
