The Coterie is a place for connection, above all else. We offer three types of yoga-based classes that allow you to get more in touch with yourself. We understand that calming the chatter in your mind and tapping into your breath are equally as important as strengthening the physical body.
A bit about us
Rooted in movement, not to burn calories, but to feel free, to explore and to grow in every sense of the word. We understand that you are entering our space authentically to feel safe, to feel seen and to feel heard, and we take that very seriously. Your self study and personal growth are at the core of why this place exists, and we cannot wait to support you along your journey.
Classes
POWER IS OUR WAY OF DOING HARD THINGS WITH YOU.
During class, you will witness your strength, both physically and mentally. Expect a combination of yoga shapes alongside traditional HIIT elements like jumping jacks, squats and pushups.
Whether you choose to grab weights or not, expect to feel exhilarated and confident in your choices at every beat of the music.
PRANA IS OUR TAKE ON A VINYASA PRACTICE.
Vinyasa loosely translates in Sanskrit as ‘to place in a special way’. Whereas, Prana is loosely translated as ‘breath’ in Sanskrit.
During class, you will move in tandem with your breath as a trusted guide to your practice. Expect to walk away learning more about your practice, your mind and your breath. Props like blocks and straps are encouraged to make all postures conform to you, rather than you conforming to fit the postures.
PEACE IS A YIN YOGA PRACTICE
A practice to slow down. During class, you will experience holding shapes for at least 3-5 minutes at a time, giving your mind time to exist without expectation. Finding stillness in this way leaves you learning a little more about yourself.
Come as you are and expect to be supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets throughout practice.

Pay what you can drop-in
This is meant to make this practice more accessible than it would be if we charged one price. The pricing is meant to make you reflect internally before you even walk in the door.
Our drop-in rate is a sliding scale from $11 to $27, allowing you to pay what you can while still supporting the teacher financially.
Sliding Scale pricing was a concept introduced to me by my website designer, Raudhah Rahman, who learned from her mentor, Michelle C. Johnson. The incredible branding strategist we worked with, Emmy Singer, also uses a sliding scale for her work.
It was through these experiences that I realized how impactful and helpful this structure could be for a yoga studio.
Packages that don’t expire.
Our class packages do not expire for an entire year, leaving you time and flexibility to take classes as your schedule allows.
5 Class Package: $90
10 Class Package: $160
20 Class Package: $280
We will always remind you when your package runs out, and we will always communicate honestly with you if a membership makes more financial sense based on your attendance. We are here to offer you the best option for you, not the best option for us.
Because the best option for us is whatever allows us to share space with you.
UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP,
TAILORED PRICING.
01 Community: $95
The Community membership is our option to experience the fullness of an unlimited membership in a discounted way. If you would need to reallocate funds away from necessities like rent, groceries and gas to pay the Sustainer price, this is for you.
02 Sustainer: $125
Thoughts: pays for you, if income is stable but other personal expenses are prioritized before this, not necessarily a financial sacrifice but not a ton of expendable income.
03 Pay it Forward: $155
The Supporter membership can also be called The Pay It Forward price. This not only pays for your membership, but it also allows more people to pay the Community rate and experience the same level of support, internal growth and overall wellness.
